The mock assessment is a structured, case-based evaluation that simulates real MSL or pharmaceutical marketing scenarios:

1. Case assignment: you receive a case study for your track (MSL or Product Management) and prepare a presentation.
2. Live presentation: you present the case to the instructor, and your performance is scored on a standardized assessment form developed by the Academy.
3. Feedback and improvement: you receive detailed feedback on strengths, areas for improvement and personalized tips, and you can repeat the assessment after applying the feedback.

You’re not only evaluated; you’re guided toward real, measurable improvement.

Once you’re invited to an MSL interview or assessment, you get comprehensive one-to-one support:

Yes. It helps to understand the typical pathways into the MSL role first:

• Around 90% of MSLs are promoted internally from Product Specialist roles. Only about 10% come from other backgrounds, such as clinical pharmacy, CROs or medical teams in agencies.
• Moving directly from clinical pharmacy to an MSL role is possible, but less common and more competitive.

CMSL gives you a deep understanding of the MSL role, prepares you for the MSL assessment and, just as important, helps you identify the most effective pathway for your background, whether directly or through a Product Specialist role.
